            Bethpage Elementary will be a community of students motivated to learn.  Learning will be nurtured and cultivated in a safe, caring environment where students will achieve their highest potential.  Students, teachers, staff, parents, and community will work in collaborative relationships, accepting and respecting one another, and demonstrating a sense of unity, harmony, and mission.

   BELIEFS

1.    We believe all students can and do learn when being guided to learn through their different learning styles and multiple intelligence in order to enhance future potential of becoming lifelong learners.

2.     We believe that our student's instruction should be the primary focus of all decisions impacting the work of our school.

3.      We believe that students are creative and have the ability to meet the many challenges in our ever-changing society.

4.       We believe that a safe, clean, and physically comfortable environment promotes student success.

5.        We believe a variety of instructional methods are necessary to meet the individual, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs of the student.

6.         We believe that our students deserve teachers and staff members who are positive role models.

7.         We believe that students and staff must have a shared respect for each other and communicate positive relationships in order to build a student's self-esteem.
